Santa paddle boarders in West Bay raise more than £500 for Action for Children

A group of paddle boarding Santas have managed to raise more than £500 for charity.

Around 40 took to the River Brit at West Bay on Sunday to raise money for Action for Children - which helps vulnerable children and young people, and their families - with spectators donating to the cause and Cherries Ice Cream Parlour supplying warming drinks.

The group did the same last year in the harbour and was organised by Sara Bennett of Bay Paddle Boarding.

Here's hoping it becomes an annual fixture in Bridport's winter calendar.
