Burrough Harmony Centre to hold AGM at the Assembly Rooms

A vital mental health support charity in Bridport is inviting people to share ideas and ask questions on its future.

Burrough Harmony Centre is holding an AGM with trustees, staff, volunteers, carers, members and their families and friends on Tuesday, November 9 at 3.30pm at the Assembly Rooms, Gundry Lane.

Harmony provides much-needed peer support for people living with mental health issues in West Dorset. Over the past 18 months the team stepped up to the challenge of providing support using virtual ways throughout the Covid-19 pandemic.

The AGM is a time for everyone interested in the charity to meet and exchange views, plans and hopes for its future. The business agenda will be kept brief so that people can contribute their questions and comments. These will influence the plans for services in the future.

Tea, coffee and cake will be provided by members and staff.

Jane Brennan, chairman of trustees, said: "We have a lot to talk about as we have had to develop the services we offer differently over the past year.

"I hope lots of interested people will be able to join us at the Assembly Rooms as it will be great to see people face to face again in our centre."
