Weldmar Hospicecare's Christmas tree recycling scheme will return in January.

For a fourth year, the charity's Christmas Tree-cycle project is back and you can book a collection for your real Christmas tree in return for a suggested minimum donation of £10.

A spokesman for Weldmar said: "We're delighted that this year our Christmas Tree-cycle is supported by Trinity St. Christmas Trees, who will be making collections on our behalf and helping to dispose of the trees in an eco-friendly manner."

Trees will be collected from the Bridport area on Sunday, January 10.

Those who would like their tree collected for a donation should fill out the form here.

The service is for real Christmas trees only and no taller than 8ft and the tree could be picked up anytime between 8am and 7pm on the day - so have it ready.

Please take all the decorations off your tree and place it outside the front of your house - avoiding blocking any pavements or roads - and where it won't be necessary for volunteers to need to open gates.

Place trees outside the day before collection to 'air' and reduce the risk of contamination.

Volunteers cannot return to make a later collection if your tree is not ready for collection and you have until the end of Monday, January 4 to make a booking.

Trinity St. Christmas Trees have been delivering Christmas trees across Dorset for 30 years.

Its environmental initiatives include the first harvest of Dorset grown Christmas trees, wrapped in biodegradable netting, and can be found at Morrisons in Bridport, as well as Weymouth and Trinity Street in Dorchester.
