Here's your Nub News weekly round-up of what's on in the Bridport area this weekend...

Saturday: Community Car Boot & Plant Sale
A community car boot and plant sale will be held in the grounds of St Swithun's Church in Allington, Bridport, from 10am to 1pm on Saturday, May 13. Stalls will include plants, clothes, bric-a-brac and produce, plus a tombola, Jazz Cafe, refreshments.
Saturday: The New Elizabethan Singers Concert
The New Elizabethan Singers May concert features two major 18th century works, one well-known, the other a Covid lockdown discovery by the NES Musical Director Matt Kingston.
The concert will be held at St Mary's Church, Bridport, from 7pm on Saturday, May 13.
Sunday: Kids Fun Run and Fun Day
Bridport Rugby Club will host a children's fun run and fun day on Sunday, May 14 to raise funds for Bridport Ladies Circle, supporting local and global causes.
The event will be held at the club's ground in Skilling Hill Road from 1pm to 4pm.
Children are encouraged to take are encouraged to take part in fun run races for just £1 – either running, walking or skipping.
Sunday: Salway Ash Cream Teas
Cream teas will be served at Strongate Farm in Salway Ash, near Bridport (DT6 5JD) from 2pm to 5pm on Sunday, May 14. There will also be a plant stall, raffle and all proceeds raised will go towards supporting Holy Trinity Church in Salway Ash.
