Legal Secretary (Family Law)

Location: Bridport, Dorset

Salary: From £22k + Excellent Benefits

Full - Time, Part - Time, Monday - Friday

The Client:

Our client is a well-established legal firm, offering legal advice and services to both business and private clients on a national and international scale.

The Role:

As a Legal secretary in a Family Law department, you will be organising fee earner schedules, appointments, and coordinating both internal and external meetings.

Responsibilities:

  • Serving as the primary liaison between clients and the legal team through phone, in-person, and written communication.
  • Overseeing the creation of confidential correspondence and documentation.
  • Generating necessary documentation and correspondence through audio transcription.
  • Providing support to an established and successful team.

Requirements:

  • Previously worked as a Legal Secretary, Legal administrator, Legal Assistant or in a similar role.
  • At least 2 years of Audio transcription and secretarial experience.
  • Experience of working in a legal department.
  • Proof-reading skills to ensure a consistent and accurate standard.
  • A high level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office and computer operations.
