Colmer W.I. meets on the second Thursday of the month at 7.30p.m. in the W.I. Hall in Bridport. It is a lively group whose members participate in a range of activities including crafts, walking, skittles, canasta, scrabble, meals out, knit and natter and mahjong. We welcome new members.
We are the county's independent health and care champion. We exist to ensure that people are at the heart of care. Our dedicated team of staff and volunteers listen to what people like about local health and care services, and what could be improved. These views are then shared with the decision-making organisations in the county, so together we can make a real difference.
The Rotary Club of Bridport is a local branch of a worldwide organisation of enthusiastic men and women of all ages, dedicated to having fun whilst fostering projects which benefit the local community as well as national and international needy causes.
We are a group of local people working to create an affordable cohousing neighbourhood in Bridport and now own a beautiful 7 acre site on the edge of the town with full planning permission to build 53 eco homes - 1 bedroom flats and 2, 3 and 4 bedroom houses (all built to the equivalent of Passivhaus standard.)
