Bridport Food and Beer Festival kicks off tonight

Bridport Food and Beer Festival is back - kicking off tonight in Asker Meadows.

It's always such a popular event and after two years off, it's set to be a great day out for all the family.

Bridport Round Table's Beer Festival starts this evening, with a choice of more than 80 beers, 40 ciders, Pimms bar and more with live music from 6pm. And it will be back on Saturday day and into the evening.

Bridport Food Festival will take over Asker Meadows on Saturday, creating a celebration of local food with a whole host of food and drink producers, local produce and tasty treats.

There will also be a children's and teens marque, cookery demonstrations by local chefs, as well as cocktail making with DarkBear, a tearoom and love music.

Adult tickets cost £5 on the door or £3.50 in advance from Bridport TIC.
