Here are the roadworks and closures across Bridport this week

Here are the road closures and works affecting Bridport and the surrounding areas this week, which may cause delays to drivers.

There will be traffic controls on Beaminster Road around 100 metres south of Broad Road Farm on October 26 for Dorset Council to carry out works relating to drainage issues.

Wessex Water will be renewing a leaking stop tap in North Allington on October 27. Traffic controls will be in use and the footpath closed, although a pedestrian walkway will be provided.

Wessex Water will also be in West Allington on October 28 and 29 to repair a service leak.

Western Power Distribution will be trimming trees in North Allington and Dottery Road on October 30 and stop/go boards will be in operation.

Village Road in Bradpole continues to be closed while Western Power Distribution completes a substation changed. It is due to be completed by November 3. The diversion is via A3066, Townsend Way, Mangerton Lane and Village Road.
