Lee Lane in Bradpole has been closed after a landslip following Storm Alex at the weekend.

A spokesman for Dorset Council said: "Dorset still has relatively low infection rates and we want to keep it that way. This is something we can all help with by making sure we're complying with the new rules.

Despite changes to GP practices across Dorset due to Covid-19, parents are being urged to make sure their children receive their immunisations as normal and get protected against flu.

As winter approaches, Dorset HealthCare says the vaccine will not only protect the child, but also help stop them passing on harmful viruses to other members of the family and wider community.

The weather warning for Bridport over the weekend has been upgraded from yellow to amber.

The Met Office has announced the warning, which will come into effect from 12noon on Saturday until 6am on Sunday.
