Join Dorset Nectar Cider for the World Nettle Eating Competition held for many years in West Dorset. Where you can compete to see how many lengths of nettles can be eaten over one hour. There are cups for the ladies and men's winners to take home and get engraved.
The event takes place on Saturday, June 25 from 3pm with the contest starting at 4.30pm and finishing at 5.30pm.
This will be set at the cider farm, cider garden area, near Waytown. Plenty of benches and tap room/tasting room with drinks. Live Jazz band Bug Tree Swamp and Shelbys Elbows and hot food by Tortilla Cantina.
Let them know in advance if possible if you would like to compete. Completely public event
