Children are needed to help Santa find his belongings lost at Groves Nurseries so he can get ready to deliver presents on Christmas Eve.
A Santa Quest has started at the Bridport garden centre in a bid to find all the items.
Children will be given a map during their booked slot and they must search Groves to find everything Santa needs.
Charlie Groves said: "This will be the first year in decades that Santa hasn't visited Groves, so we wanted to make sure children will be able to see him virtually if not in person.
"It's really important that he gets some help from the children of Bridport this year. Last year he left lots of his things with us, all around the garden centre and he needs help finding them all so that he can get ready for his big journey on Christmas Eve.
"The children will have to find his hat, his sack, his belt and he has even lost his pants somewhere!
"As a little thank you, they will even get a present from Santa at the end."
It costs £5 to take part in the hunt with all proceeds going to Dorset Children's Foundation.
Charlie added: "This amazing charity helps disabled children and children with special needs get the equipment they need as it's not always possible to get these things on the NHS.
"Like all charities, the Dorset Children's Foundation has struggled during these difficult times and it seemed like a perfect charity for Santa to raise some money for."
Santa is also planning on doing a Facebook Live on Thursday, December 17 at 6pm so children will be able to message him and tell him what they want for Christmas.
