More sculptures are popping up around the town.

Bridport Town Council, working with the Arts Development Company and Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty team, have been supporting the establishment of a sculpture trail for Bridport.

This is the second year of the initiative and new sculptures are being added and some old favourites kept on for another year.

The sculpture trail has been well received by residents and visitors alike. During August, new works will appear in locations around the town and along Bridport's Green Route, a three-mile walk around the historic market.

Sites include Asker Meadows, Plottingham Field, Riverside Gardens, Borough Gardens, North Street and the Millennium Green - take a walk around the town to see if you can spot them.

Once all the sculptures are in place, the sculpture trail map will be revised.

There will be works by Isla Chaney, Greta Berlin, Brendon Murless, Vik Westaway, Carrie Mason and Sarah Jane Ross in the green spaces surrounding the town.

The one in the bus station has been created by artist Isla Chaney.
