The Jurassic Coast Healthcare Primary Care Network (PCN) is urging all those over 50 to call and book their Covid-19 vaccination.

Bridport Medical Centre is the vaccination hub for the Jurassic Coast Healthcare PCN, which covers Bridport, Beaminster, Lyme Regis and Charmouth.

A spokesman said: "Jurassic Coast Healthcare PCN would like to thank all our patients for their patience and understanding whilst they await their Covid vaccine invitations.

"Our booking team has now attempted to contact all patients over 50 years old for their first dose, but there are some that we cannot reach, despite numerous phone calls, texts, letters and social media posts.

"If anyone is yet to receive an invite from us and is over 50 years old, please call the booking team on 01308 808714, where our lines are open from 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday, apart from on clinic days.

"We would ask our patients who are under 50 years old not to contact us, we will contact you in due course."

For second vaccine doses, the team will be in touch via phone 11 weeks after you received your first dose. If it has been 11 weeks and you have not heard from them, call the booking team.

The spokesman added: "We post regular updates on our website and social media so keep an eye on them for further updates, as we would appreciate our phone lines not being overwhelmed."
